The 12 Days of Closing a Deal

Here’s a new twist on an old classic, The 12 Days of Christmas created as a gift for B2B sales consultants.  Feel free to use this process with your customers and help them close a big deal in the next couple of weeks! 

This new version is called The 12 Days of Closing a Deal. Follow the step for each day (starting today) and great things will happen. Feel free to hum along as you read and follow the hyperlinks to the Partner Program tools mentioned on each day! 

On the 1st day of selling use the Target Account Prospecting Tool to select 5 new business targets.

On the 2nd day of selling spend time developing your personal brand and connect with your new target prospects. 

On the 3rd day of selling use the VBR sales meeting kit to develop a valid business reason for each target prospect.

On the 4th day of selling send a personal marketing resume to each prospect.

On the 5th day of selling send an introduction email to each prospect (use your VBR).

On the 6th day of selling call each prospect and set a needs analysis appointment.

On the 7th day of selling send follow up emails to the prospects you have not connected with.

On the 8th day of selling write some questions and prepare for your needs analysis meetings.

On the 9th day of selling make another round of phone calls to new business targets you could not reach on the 6th day. 

On the 10th day of selling conduct some needs analysis meetings.

On the 11th day of selling develop some solutions and no-surprise proposals to solve the problems uncovered during your needs analysis meetings.

On the 12th day of selling present some no-surprise proposals and close at least one deal!
