20 Seconds of Insane Courage will Transform Your Sales Performance

Have you seen the movie We Bought a Zoo? It's a good movie and based on a true story. Matt Damon, who stars in the movie and plays Benjamin Mee, is talking to his son about how it only takes 20 seconds of insane courage to make something happen.

"All it takes is 20 seconds of insane courage and great things will happen, I promise." —Benjamin Mee

Is insane courage uncomfortable? Yes. Is it worth the risk? Absolutely and here's why.

It speeds up the process. Whether it's making that first call, asking tough questions or asking for the business, you have to make the move… be courageous, step up and make it happen.

I've had several times in my life where I was put in situations that I didn't think I could handle, but guess what? I handled them. I was unknowingly practicing insane courage, and those moments have played a tremendous role in my growth as a person and as a professional. There is nothing better than thinking you can't do something and then doing it anyway.

You know how it feels to push and then be rewarded? It's exciting and fulfilling.

"Everything you want in the world is just right outside your comfort zone...
every single thing you could possibly want."
Jamie Lee Curtis

Why practice insane courage? Why not?
